Dr. Hemantraje Gaikwad serves as the Director of the Dr. Gaikwad Institute, a renowned institution that has trained over 7000 paramedics in the last twenty-five years. Affiliated with Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS), founded by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the institute continues the legacy of 'The Servant of India Society, established by Shri Gopal Krishna Gokhale in 1902.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Dr. Gaikwad received the Bharatiya Chikitsa Ratna Award. Authoring twenty-six manuals for nursing homes, his literary works have featured in prominent publications.
